Self powered IoT to make thickness measures on demand, remotely

Checking the integrity of metal infrastructures requires local non-destructive testing.
Ultrasound devices exist. They involve mounting scaffolding to take measurements in hard-to-reach places.
The cost and the mobilization necessary for these measures mean that they are very spaced out in time, increasing the risk of missing out on a degradation of the industrial tool.

UMITS is a connected object for ultrasonic thickness measurement. Self-powered, it is installed permanently, where the measurement must be made. The measurement is remotely controlled in less than 30 seconds.
